He's facing a custodial sentence
A teenager who was involved in the rioting in Manchester city centre racially abused a police officer as he was arrested. The 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named due to his age, rampaged through the Sainsbury's store on Mosley Street and booted the glass window of a nearby phone shop.

She said, in the footage, the boy was wearing a black jacket with the hood up and a blue surgical face mask which at one point was taken down giving a full view of his face.
Others have already been sentenced for looting the store, but the court was told the boy didn't take anything. After leaving the shop the group he was with ran further down Mosley Street where a shop called Vape Supermarket was kicked and had items thrown at its exterior before the boy booted the window of City Mobile, a phone shop next door, the court heard.
The boy, from Salford, pleaded guilty to violent disorder, and a racially aggravated public order offence at the Youth Court on Tuesday .
