Adam Clarke took screenshots and recordings of young boys in an online chatroom
A man used an online chatroom to lure young boys into sexual situations, then took pictures and videos of them. Adam Clarke, 22, was a teenager himself when he chatted with multiple boys - including one aged just 12 - and encouraged them to perform sex acts on camera. The interactions took place on live video website Omegle between November 11 and 21 2021.
' The court heard Clarke, who has no previous convictions, had been in inappropriate conversations with a number of children aged between 12 and 16 years old while he was 19. Paul Birrell, defending, said: 'He says that something similar happened to him when he was a younger teenager and so it was somewhat normalised. 'This is a cased in which age and lack of maturity is a relevant factor. He is in work; he works in a pub. It seems he had a very difficult start to life.
