The Judicial Conduct Board has filed additional charges against suspended Dauphin County judge Sonya McKnight, the Board announced in aMcKnight, who has been at the forefront of various controversies during her tenure, was arrested in February on charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault for allegedly shooting her boyfriend in the face.
The board alleges McKnight did not make those notifications. It announced in the release that it filed a Petition for Special Relief to get McKnight's probation revoked.The complaint alleges McKnight committed multiple violations of the Rules Governing Standards of Conduct of Magisterial District Judges, including not complying with the law and acting in a manner that "failed to promote confidence in the judiciary” .
