On Instagram, Lee described the process and mentioned how Roberts had been blonde seven years ago. She offered some advice for anyone hoping to make a major change, emphasizing patience and focusing on the health of the hair in whatever processes a change may require.."When making drastic color changes, in this case from red to blonde, my approach is always the same- slow and methodical, while always keeping the health and integrity of the hair first and foremost.
"I recently came across a caption from 7 years ago when I did a similar change for Julia and the consistency made me smile. It read as follows…," she continued. "Drastic color changes can be quite stressful for a colorist, but over the years I’ve developed a calm and methodical approach that gives me the natural and realistic result I need, while keeping the hair strong and healthy . Biggest tip- go gently, in multiple sessions.
