Queen hands OBEs to Henderson and Nicholls in New Year Honours list
THEY'RE used to going head to head for the top prizes in jumps racing.
But this time Paul Nicholls and Nicky Henderson will share the spoils as they are both awarded OBEs in the Queen's New Year Honours List.The pair have dominated the sport in recent years, Nicholls having claimed his 11th champion trainer crown from his old foe Henderson in April this year. The 69-year-old Henderson, who has trained 56 winners for the Queen during his 40-year career, added: "It is a huge honour. "I love the game, the game has been very good to us.
