after it was delayed in the COVID-19 lockdown, and stars Bryce Dallas Howard and DeWanda Wise also opened up to us about what it was like to return to work in that environment.
"DeWanda was the first back to work when we came back from the pandemic," Howard explained."There was the guinea pig experiment of"What's wild is, I will say, it was one of those things where at that point, I was so in Kayla's skin, so to speak," Wise added. "I'd been training, and getting into her brain space, so when we were having conversations about how we felt about going back, I was like, 'I'm good, I'm fine, everything's cool, let's go'. Then we got to set and it was like my body was betraying me.
"At one point during production, I broke out in hives. DeWanda was like, 'Ah girl, you're good' and my body was like, 'Everything is not OK.'"
