The Jurassic World exhibition at the Trafford Centre has been forced to close for several days due to temperatures being too low, organizers have announced. Tickets for affected dates will be refunded or rescheduled.

The organisers behind a much-loved family attraction have had to close the exhibition due to 'predicted weather forecast. The acclaimed Jurassic World at the Trafford Centre confirmed this afternoon that the event had been closed for several days due to the temperatures being 'below the regulations advised in the venue'. Affected dates include Thursday, January 2, Friday, January 3, and Saturday January 4.

The acclaimed exhibition opened its doors in a purpose-built building on the Peel Avenue 7 car park at the Trafford Centre during the school holidays. The immersive attraction had previously played in London, before heading up North - the first time Manchester hosted the event which is based on the blockbuster Jurassic Park movie series. In a statement, organisers said: 'Jurassic World: The Exhibition, Manchester has taken the difficult decision to close on January 2nd, 3rd and 4th due to the predicted weather forecast. 'Every opportunity has been taken to open the Exhibition, but temperatures are already below the regulations advised within the venue. The comfort and safety of our visitors is our number one priority, especially as we attract a large number of young children. 'Any people with tickets booked over these dates, will be contacted by the ticket provider to arrange full refund or potentially move booking. 'At this moment in time Sunday 5th is our final day in Manchester and we will continue to monitor weather.' As part of the event, dinosaur fans can get up close and personal with a raft of life-sized, moving dinosaurs. Guests get to enter 'Jurassic World' after a simulated boat trip out to the island where the likes of Triceratops, Brachiosaurus and Parasaurolphus roam. Ticketholders also get to walk through a series of different rooms within the attraction, including a science lab where the Jurassic World boffins hatch new baby dinosaurs.
