NEW YORK — The jury in Sen. Bob Menendez’s corruption trial deliberated for its first full day on Monday without reaching a verdict, sending a note to the judge shortly after 4:30 p.m. that they were done for the day.
Menendez and his two trial co-defendants, New Jersey businessmen Fred Daibes and Wael “Will” Hana, could face decades in prison if convicted on charges including bribery, extortion, wire fraud and obstruction of justice.
