Mr Campbell's ex-wife Coleen Campbell, Stephen Cleworth, and Reece Steven all deny murder
Jurors have retired to consider their verdicts in the Thomas Campbell murder trial. Mr Campbell, 38, was 'tortured to death' in his own home after being subjected to a two hour ordeal, during which he suffered 61 separate injuries, the jury has heard.

Prosecutors allege he wanted to rob Mr Campbell, also said to be a drug dealer who played an 'integral part' in an organised crime group, of drugs, cash or valuables.
Giving evidence, Ms Campbell admitted that she'd passed on information to Mr Belfield but had no intention for her former husband to be harmed. He claimed that Mr Belfield told him that Mr Campbell had drugs or money buried in a field near his home. "Basically I was living with my mam, I have just split up with my girlfriend, it seemed like an alright plan," he said. "It was like buried treasure or something."
He admitted he was present when the tracking device was placed on Mr Campbell's car, but denied being at Mr Campbell's home on the night of an alleged 'aborted attack' on June 30, or on July 2. Mr Steven said that on the night of the attack on Mr Campbell, he was working at a cannabis farm after being offered £300 by Mr Belfield for the job.
