The Kogi State National Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal, sitting in Lokoja, on Wednesday, declared Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan as the winner of the February
In his ruling, the Tribunal chairman, Justice K. A.
Orjiako, declared that Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan secured 54,064 votes, surpassing her closest challenger, Abubakar Ohere, of the All Progressives Congress , who garnered 51,291 votes.Recall that Akpoti-Uduaghan, who contested the election on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party , had filed a petition with the National and State Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal challenging the victory of Ohere.
