Just Stop Oil protesters attempt to disrupt The Open
A smoke flare has been set off at The Open and orange powder thrown at a green by Just Stop Oil protesters.
The incident, on the 17th hole of the Royal Liverpool Golf Course in Hoylake, happened at around 12:20 BST. Canada's Corey Connors, Swede Alex Noren and Horschel all completed the par-three hole in three shots before moving on to their final hole.Merseyside police said: "Two males and two females were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit criminal damage and public nuisance.
