by Elise Person Justin Johnson ’s family, alongside their lawyer, Nicholas Johnson , held a press conference on Wednesday bringing new details to light in what happened in the hours before 16-year-old Justin’s died on April 26 .
The family lawyer said they believe the teenagers in the security footage on April 26 were holding some sort of a weapon, whether it was a water gun or a Bebe gun. Johnson said they do have reason to believe Justin was running from something that scared him. In a timeline provided by Lower Paxton Township Police, they said the teen boys were playing tag on April 26, which is the night Justin died.
“Why was Justin specifically targeted? Does it have something to do with his race?” Johnson said at the Wednesday press conference.
