Timberlake was pulled over in Sag Harbor, Long Island, just after midnight on June 18 and charged with driving while intoxicated and cited for running a stop sign and failure to keep in his lane, court documents show.
The pop star’s lawyer, Edward Burke Jr. — who is trying to get the case dismissed — is reportedly set to argue that the two young cops were off in their judgment by letting the woman drive after having a few drinks herself, TMZ reports.Burke is reportedly looking to make that argument to the judge as part of his motion to get the case thrown out, the outlet adds.
