New developments in the case of a 17-year-old Kaitlin Hernandez , who was killed earlier this year on the Northeast Side.
San Antonio Police officials said in a statement that the arrest was made after DNA from Kaitlin matched the person last seen with her. The medical examiner confirms this is a homicide, and Hernandez was killed by strangulation and blunt head trauma. Investigators say Kaitlin was dragged to the drainage ditch where she was found.
