According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the 4400 block of Braemar Dr. on a report of a person shot around 3:15 p.m.The victim was pronounced deceased.
An active investigation is ongoing. Police said they are speaking with one person of interest but no arrests have been made.Kirby along with some of those neighbors told WRTV they were devastated by what happened in their normally quiet neighborhood.
