A juvenile sea turtle was found on Fleetwood beach on November 26, 2019. The HM Coastguard Fleetwood assisted in the recovery of the animal and handed it over to Blackpool Sea Life Centre for care and rehabilitation.
On Tuesday, November 26, HM Coastguard Fleetwood were called to a 'rather unusual casualty' on the shore. A juvenile sea turtle had been washed up on the beach and was discovered by the team.
A spokesperson from the coastguard stated: "We look forward to hearing about its progress and are hopeful for it's safe release."
