—DeBoer said UA needed better pass protection and run defense from his team after last week. They delivered.People are also reading… —UA had four practices this week, the most in a single week this spring.—Alabama OL Jaeden Roberts, expected to be the team’s starting right guard, was dinged up in practice today. When asked by a reporter, DeBoer laughed.DeBoer said it “feels like nothing major” in regard to Roberts and he’ll be reevaluated in the coming days.
“He’s gonna be with us. ... He’s working hard and he’s going to be ready to go here sooner rather than later.—DeBoer said the chemistry between Alabama’s quarterbacks and pass-catchers “ebbs and flows” throughout the spring. Players start picking up concepts on offense and build a rhythm. Eventually, the defense adapts. DeBoer said the players took a step forward today.
“One of the more impressive plays. It’s what you want to do. It’s going to be great film for us to teach off of. Those bigger receivers, give them a chance.”
