Kalinga is aiming to set two Guinness World Records at the celebration of Bodong Festival 2023.

According to Joanne Ponsoy's "24 Oras" report, Wednesday, a total of 3,073 men danced with gongs while in their cultural attire. Meanwhile, around 5,000 women performed with pots on their heads.Apart from setting the records, Tabuk City's information officer Aurora Amilig said the festival is also a way to let the province's culture be known to everyone in the world.

"We use the gongs and 'yung pots on the head kasi 'di ba it was a tradition noon sa mga village. It was used to carry water, to cook their food, and all," she said.—Franchesca Viernes/MGP, GMA Integrated News
