Kalvin Phillips is expected to be on the move again this summer with an exit from Manchester City
Kalvin Phillips has been told not to think about an emotional return to Leeds United next season, with the claim the England plyer needs to set his sights higher than the Whites
Should Leeds win promotion back to the Premier League there will be calls in some quarters for Phillips to return to his boyhood club and aid Daniel Farke's side in their bid to cement their place in the top flight, however Phillips has now been warned against that. Nedum Onuoha, a Manchester City club ambassador as well as BBC and ESPN pundit, believes Phillips should set his sights higher than fighting what he expects would be a relegation battle for Leeds next season. He told ESPN; “I am going to say no,” said Onuoha when asked about Phillips potentially signing for Leeds this summer.
"He could have that home bond or that home connection, but I think he is a player who could play to a higher standard and a team than to one who would be fighting relegation next season.”
