“The more important part of Biden’s appeal is that he is a centrist who applied a much-needed steady hand – and a progressive agenda – to the political system, after January 6 ,” he said. “That appeal dissipated as Biden has come to give the impression that he is not in control of the situation he’s in, which in turn raises the question whether, if elected, he would complete his term.
“I don’t think any Democrat’s going to try and get too far ahead of themselves,” he said. “I think we’re not there yet.
“Trump’s unpopularity might well be augmented by numerous predictably repulsive comments on Harris and thereby remind voters – including Democrat recalcitrants and suburban Republican women – why they do not like him.”“Personally, I love Kamala Harris – setting aside the fact she is historic – I think her record is pretty impressive. People have mixed opinions of her polling. My read of it is where she is right now takes the ticket back to where Biden was pre-debate.
