The 31-year-old striker converted his first penalty just 11 minutes into the second half after Werder Bremen defender Anthony Jung handled the ball. Leroy Sane capitalized on a well-constructed move involving Jamal Musiala and Konrad Laimer on Bayern's right flank, slotting in to double the lead.
