With both men keeping secrets together, they agreed on a pact to never tell anyone what they had spoken about, before going their separate ways.
When Phil arrived at the registry office alone, he kept his end of the bargain and lied to Kat about Alfie’s whereabouts. Meanwhile, Alfie had arrived at the hospital for his prostatectomy, where he was soon met by Linda Carter who had come to support him. It was here that Alfie admitted to her that he still had feelings for Kat, and he couldn’t get over her no matter how hard he tried.
As Phil and Kat got the deed done and headed back to the Square a married couple, they were all smiles. But with such big secrets hanging over them, we can’t help but wonder if their marriage may be doomed from the start.
