Former TOWIE star Kate Ferdinand has taken to her Instagram stories to thank fans for their messages after she opened up about being ‘scared’ to post pictures of her skin as she suffers with melasma.

For the last few years, even with SPF50 and a hat, as soon as the sun comes out my face looks like a patch work,” she captions the barefaced selfie.The star, who gave birth to her first child Cree late last year, went onto explain that she felt the need to be “perfect” for most of her life, but is now fed up of having “crazy, unrealistic expectations”.
