Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway has posted on her Instagram page on her late husband's birthday
Kate Garraway's daughter Darcey paid a visit to her father Derek Draper's grave on his birthday to share her A Level results with him. The Good Morning Britain presenter broke her social media silence to announce the news.
Kate, aged 57, posted a video of flowers blooming in her garden and began: "Congratulations to all who got their #alevel results this week - huge achievement - even if you're disappointed in the results - don't be - you made it to the end and life has a way of working itself out in the best way for you.""Darcey got her results on another one of those firsts this year - Derek's birthday.
"So am just enjoying the incredible fragrance combined with the mint and raising a mug of tea to Derek - darling we did it - your beautiful daughter is on her way to her next stage in life thanks to your love and guidance and you will live on through her." A third echoed: "Well done Darcey your dad would be so proud of her and no matter what your dad is always with you in your heart. So all the best to you. A fourth shared: "Beautiful comments about Derek and your daughter and what lovely roses. "".
