Kate Garraway has posted a video online which reveals a very famous intruder lurking on the breakfast show's set – and she doesn't have a clue what's going on behind her
Good Morning Britain ’s Kate Garraway has given fans a behind-the-scenes peek at the filming of her cameo role in ITV drama Douglas Is Cancelled.
Kate made a cameo appearance in the four-part drama, which stars Downton Abbey’s Hugh alongside Doctor Who star Karen Gillan as a pair of TV news anchors who are rocked by scandal. On the show, Kate appears as herself and is seen interviewing the two actors as their characters, Douglas and Madeline, something she reveals on her video was a strange experience.
But as Kate filmed her video, little did she realise that Hugh was lurking behind her, crouched down behind the sofa. With the crew in on the joke, laughter can be heard from behind the scenes, at one point Kate seeming distracted by what was going on, but having no idea what joker Hugh was up to behind her.
