Kate Garraway shared a rare social media post as her husband Derek Draper remains in hospital after contracting coronavirus in March.
Despite the ongoing heartbreak surrounding her husband’s illness, Kate took to Instagram to congratulate the couple on their happy news.Kate's co-presenter Charlotte Hawkins also added: "Fabulous news big congratulations!!" "We wish them, as always, all the very best. But they're living in hope," he continued, before addressing the nurse once more by adding: "And you're giving them hope because you've been through it."
She said: “There was a terrible phone call two weeks ago from a senior doctor in the intensive care unit. It was late at night on a Friday and I remember exactly where I was sitting and what I was wearing.
