The first episode focuses on Isobel Abulhoul OBE, founder of the Emirates Literature Foundation, who relocated to Dubai from Cambridge in the 1960s. Abulhoul shares her motivations for leaving the UK to start a new life with her Emirati husband, her desire to discover untold stories, and her vision for creating spaces that celebrate the joy of literature.
