The Princess' cancer was discovered in post-operative tests after she had major abdominal surgery
Kate Middleton has issued a major health update in a moving new video. The Princess of Wales, 42, announced in March she was undergoing preventative chemotherapy following a cancer diagnosis earlier this year.
The Princess also confirmed her preventative chemotherapy has now ended, and opened up on the last nine months of her treatment being 'incredibly tough' for her and her family. Kensington Palace has said the moving video was filmed in August in and around Norfolk, including on a beach on the county.An adorable new picture of The Princess of Wales alongside her husband William and three children has been issued as she announces the end to her preventative chemotherapy treatment.
Despite all that has gone before, I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown. The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.
