Kate, 41, visited the Norfolk village of Swanton Morley on her first trip to the 1st Queen's Dragoon Guards since she was made Colonel-in-Chief by King Charles in August.

However it wasn't long before she swapped her sleek outfit for a camouflage jacket and vest, plus a helmet, to observe military drills and drive a tank. Following this, The Princess will meet families of QDG personnel to hear about their experiences and the welfare support that is offered by the Regiment.
