THE Duchess of Cambridge made a virtual bedside visit to new mums and dads at a NHS maternity ward.
'The Duchess asked us about having a baby at such an unusual time, and our experience on the maternity ward was that all the midwives made it as normal as possible – apart from the masks!" We are backing a proposal by Lord Ashcroft to honour our health heroes with the gallantry gong given for acts of bravery that did not take place in battle.
We have teamed up with NHS Charities Together in their urgent Covid-19 Appeal to ensure the money gets to exactly who needs it. The royal couple regularly visited the award-winning White Eagle in Rhoscolyn in Anglesey, North Wales, while William was stationed in the area working as a search and rescue helicopter pilot.
