Kate Middleton's uncle Gary Goldsmith has apologised after an interview with a magazine in which he spoke about his royal niece hit news stands - hours after the Princess went public with her cancer diagnosis. Gary, the first housemate to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house, spoke about the Princess of Wales' disappearance from the spotlight in his latest interview titled Gary Goldsmith: Camilla, Kate, William and me, the Mirror reports.
One of his followers replied: "I think you need to read the room," adding: "It's probably best to just stay quiet and dignified." He also takes aim at Meghan Markle, who together with Harry reached out to Kate last night in a show of support after her diagnosis was revealed. He was the first housemate evicted from the ITV reality show, with the businessman and podcast host surviving five days before he was evicted after a public vote.
"It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I've had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful. In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful.
"But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be ok.
