The Princess of Wales, 42, who has been recovering from abdominal surgery in Windsor, was photographed with her husband in a black Land Rover. Kensington Palace confirmed she had left with William as he was driven to London for a Commonwealth Day service.
He spoke with the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and the Princess Royal as they waited at the Great West Door. After Edward greeted the prince with a pat on the back, the three chatted before Camilla approached them. William was seen to say ‘hello’ to his stepmother as he moved forward to kiss her on both cheeks. They smiled and spoke as they waited for the national anthem to play. King Charles, who is unable to attend, will speak at the event in a pre-recorded video.
