EXCLUSIVE: The Princess of Wales' family is her priority – and a royal expert believes this is the secret behind a recent move she and William made in their rift with Prince Harry
Following the heart-warming update that the Princess of Wales had finished her chemotherapy treatment, it became clearer than ever that her family are the most important thing to her. And, while her life with Prince William , Prince George , Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis is the most central tenant for her, a leading royal expert explains why this theme of putting family above all else has had added influence recently.
Speaking exclusively to OK!, Jennie explained: "Landmark birthdays can often be a time for taking a look at your life and assessing how you’re doing. But on this occasion it seems to be William who has been doing some re-evaluation. My gut feeling is that Catherine has been influential in this slight softening of her husband‘s implacable stand against Harry.
"William has so much on his plate at the moment that I don’t think he has room in his heart or head to deal with all that has gone on with Harry. But first steps do matter. And though the brothers may never be close again, or even live on the same continent, it doesn’t mean that the future has to be full of bitterness and bad blood. Catherine is right... family should always be paramount.
The video of the Waleses provided a snapshot of the family’s life at their Norfolk bolthole, Anmer Hall, while a heartfelt voiceover from Catherine played over the top.
