Titanic star Kate Winslet opened up about her past romance with The Holiday co-star Rufus Sewell, as the actor stars in the lead role of Netflix ’s hit movie Scoop.
In the 2006 rom-com, Rufus then played Jasper, while Kate took on the role of Iris, who was in love with him and heartbroken over his engagement to another woman at Christmas. Reminiscing on her romance with the star, she added: “And Rufus Sewell is so terrific, you know, I used to go out with Rufus Sewell years ago. Back in the day, a long time ago, I think I must have been 21 or something. “
Kate is now married to Edward Abel Smith with the pair getting together in 2011 and tying the knot the following year.
