Comedian and writer Katherine Ryan was shocked to learn of a triple death in her family after deep-diving to find out more about her long-lost ancestors and history
Katherine Ryan was left shocked and speechless after discovering three of her ancestors had tragically died in quick succession.
She found out that her 5x great grandparents were cod traders in the local area, before a local historian told her a sad tale. But even more tragedy was set to strike the family as the son of the father, and the brother of the man who died at sea, also passed away. She herself has moved from Canada to England, where she now resides with her partner Bobby Kootstra, their two young children, Fred and Fenna, and Katherine's 14 year old Violet from a previous relationship.
