Former England fast bowler Katherine Sciver-Brunt is named an independent non-executive director on the board of Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

Regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers of all time, Sciver-Brunt took 335 international wickets, more than any other woman for England.

She retired from Test cricket in June 2022 and all international cricket just under a year later, before playing her final game with Trent Rockets in The Hundred in August 2023.
