The mum-of-five spoke to the ECHO at the National Diversity Awards
The 11th edition of the event was held at the Anglican Cathedral tonight and celebrated the achievement of the positive role models who have promoted equality in today's society. Katie arrived at the event alongside three of her children, Princess, Bunny and Jett.
She said: "Bunny is trying to get on stage because she loves it so we'll see what happens." Katie has attended two previous National Diversity Awards and said it promotes a cause close to her heart. She said: "His ear is playing up. His ears are really sensitive so I've come up with Princess, Jett and Bunny. Junior is on his school tour and Harvey is at his college."
