Katie Price’s fiance Carl Woods caught promoting rogue trader on Instagram claiming ‘he made me £1,000 in a week’

Her team said the TV personality had no idea it was a scam and that she too had been deceived by the claims.However, if investors use an unauthorised firm they won’t have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or Financial Services Compensation Scheme, so are unlikely to get their money back. Over 30 per cent of their investigations now relate to online trading scams investing in Forex or Contract for difference’s .As part of their warning the FCA urge consumers to be “wary” of dealing with the “unauthorised” firm as it is “without their authorisation”.
