But even though she performed other hits that were teased in the intro, Woman's World was conspicuously absent from her medley. The video, which heavily featured computer-generated graphics, featured a snippet of her hit single Roar, until the screen was filled with an enormous closeup of Katy's face.
She followed it up with performances of E.T., and then confirmed that she wasn't afraid of included new music, as she debuted her upcoming single featuring Doechii — I'm His, He's Mine — which will be released on Friday. Katy's exclusion of Woman's World was even more stark after she again played a new song, the 143 track Lifetimes, to conclude her Video Vanguard performance.
After she was asked about working with Dr. Luke, the singer said he was just 'one of many' producers featured on the album, and she bizarrely claimed that the songs were inspired by her own experiences. 'With her game changing creative vision, she has become a global phenomenon and taken over the world’s biggest stages,' he added.
