Love Island’s Kaz Crossley claims contestants put on ‘racist accents’ to have secret conversations
’s Kaz Crossley has claimed that fellow contestants used ‘racist accents’ to communicate with each other so they could have private conversations that wouldn’t make it to air.
The 24-year-old star, who appeared in the Majorcan villa last year, explained that ITV bosses weren’t able to use the scenes because they didn’t want to offend people., Kaz alleged: ‘You knew what they could show or not – like they couldn’t put in a lot of swearing, bad words or if you talked about racist jokes, anything like that.
‘So sometimes, and we got into trouble for it, if you talk in an accent and say what you wanted to say then you knew they were never going to show it because they don’t want to offend people.’, explained that contestants learned which accents they could get away with using, adding: ‘They show accents from the UK but not others, to avoid offending other countries.’
