LoveIsland's Kaz Crossley 'languishing in jail in Dubai on suspicion of drug offences'
Kaz, 28, who shot to fame on the 2018 series of the popular ITV2 show, was reportedly detained at Abu Dhabi airport where she was in transit for a flight to Thailand.
There are strict laws against alcohol and drugs in Dubai and Abu Dhabi where first time offenders face a minimum of three months in jail and a fine between £4,500 and £22,800. A spokesperson for the Foreign Office has since told The Sun: "We are in contact with the local authorities following the arrest of a British national in the United Arab Emirates."Kaz spends a lot of time in Thailand – where she was heading to via Abu Dhabi – where she has opened a school, house and gym for children there after raising £85,000.
