Will Keanu Reeves return for another John Wick movie? Keanu Reeves has broken hearts around the world after sharing an update on a fifth John Wick movie. The 60-year-old has played the iconic assassin in the action franchise for 10 years, with the titular movie hitting the big screen in 2014 – thanks to Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria.
However, director Chad Stahelski confirmed that there was actually another ending planned, which confirmed that he is definitely still alive. John Wick first hit our screens in 2014 Keanu reprised his role for three sequels ‘We had a different ending,’ the filmmaker told Empire. ‘ was the ending Keanu and I wanted, but we shot a different ending. ‘We shot an ending where you actually saw John Wick at the end of the movie. ‘So it was very clear that he was still alive.
