The UK Labour leader was in confident mood as he joined a party rally in Hamilton ahead of a crunch by-election next week.
Keir Starmer has declared a Labour victory in next week's Rutherglen and Hamilton West by-election would be a "milestone" on the party's "hard road back to power".
Speaking alongside Anas Sarwar and by-election candidate Michael Shanks, Starmer told a hall full of activists they were campaigning on behalf of working people who had been "let down so badly over all these years". Starmer: "It's about the future of this constituency, the future of Scotland, and the future of the United Kingdom.
Speaking to journalists after his speech, Starmer was asked what his pitch would be to SNP voters ahead of the by-election.
