Love Actually came out 21 years ago – and we still can’t stop thinking about it Keira Knightley has had her say on her controversial Love Actually plot, sharing that she actually mentioned it was ‘quite creepy’ while on set. Richard Curtis’ iconic Christmas movie was first released in November, 2003, following a string of intertwining plots and characters across London, in the build up to December 25.
’ When asked if she felt there was a ‘creep factor’ about the scene while shooting, she continued: ‘I mean, there was a creep factor at the time, right? Also, I knew I was 17. It only seems like a few years ago that everybody else realized I was 17.’ ‘Most of my films I have either never seen, or I have only seen once,’ she added of speculation that she had only watched the finished product once in the 21 years it has been out. ‘So it’s nothing against Love Actually.
