Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness believes Todd Kline has a “big” chance to tap into the Chelsea owners’ network of investors after being confirmed as the club’s new president of commercial., the 66-year-old – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – revealed Kline could also have great contacts following his work at Tottenham.
Kline started work at Stamford Bridge on 11 November as he looks to improve the London giants’ commercial revenue.His arrival comes at a time when Enzo Maresca’s side still don’t have a front-of-shirt sponsorship deal in place after their £40million agreement with Infinite Athlete expired over the summer.Wyness insisted it’s all about their black book and vision to find new markets when it comes to commercial directors.
