The experienced shot stopper has urged his side to start firing in front of goal in clinical fashion
Kelle Roos says on- form Aberdeen must return after the break in ruthless fashion to make rivals pay at home and abroad.
Roos said: “We’ve shown we can take chances. We know we have great offensive players, great creators, in our team and we know we are going to score a lot of goals. But on Sunday I just think we left it too late to really give a platform for them to not get lucky, as such. On another day we take three points. But if we hit our standards earlier, they don’t stand a chance, really. Let’s be clear, we need to be better than we were on Sunday. But there are more than enough positives.
"We want to play the big games and, at the same time, we want to climb the league, do the European stuff. Everyone is very hungry but we need to make sure that when the ball drops, we put teams to the sword.” “Obviously then, at that moment in time, we need to press in front of them, move from side to side quickly. Against St Johnstone we were maybe just a little bit too slow, too passive at times and couldn’t really break them down as many times as we wanted to.”
