It was a day of jubilation for the Dons and their goalkeeper wants his side to take the ultimate step.
Kelle Roos has warned Aberdeen haven’t come this far just to get to a final and they will be looking to go all the way to lift the Viaplay Cup next month.
“It’s also important we stay focused on our daily tasks. We’ll recover and then go back to work on Monday to prepare for Thursday. It is important we keep grounded. This was a semi-final and it’s a brilliant reward for everyone, the players and the fans. “He always finds himself on the shoulder, he always gets his body in front, he can really be a threat from all angles. He can score from crosses, if you feed him he will score, he has one touch finishes. So it’s a hard one. But he’s a really good striker and someone we all enjoy having in the team.”
Aberdeen has had their fair share of VAR decisions go against them this season but the big one went their way at the national stadium as Martin Boyle’s strike was eventually chalked out for offside. “And I thought it was a good one for us to see, via VAR, that even if it might not look offside, if you have a good back line that is solid and strong and brave, then sometimes you get this.
