Kelly Clarkson has opened up about the possibility of replacing outgoing American Idol judge Katy Perry on the show - 22 years after winning the show.
'And it would put me in LA, and that's why I had to quit The Voice, which I love that team. And I miss them so much. Since then, Clarkson's career has taken off in a way that even other American Idol winners haven't experienced. Katy Perry surprisingly revealed in February during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live that this would be her last season as a judge on American Idol.'You know, actually this fall in September I'm going to be doing this huge music festival in Brazil called Rock In Rio. It's really exciting,' Katy began her answer.
