Kelly Rowland has denied rumours that she’s set to head out on a huge world tour alongside her Destiny’s Child bandmates Beyoncé and Michelle Williams.thSpeaking to Entertainment Tonight, Kelly said: ‘That was news to me, just as much as it was to you!The 38-year-old explained that each of them are focused on their own separate projects for the time being, so that also means there’s also no chance of any new music on the horizon.
‘I certainly hope they do. It would be wonderful, wouldn’t it? But you know, things like that require years of preparation and timing. Most people don’t know how touring works and how the industry works,’ he said. ‘It takes years to put together a tour, get the band together, get the dancers together, then decide which size venues you’re going to have, start rehearsals, and it would probably be a world tour… it would two to three years, even if the answer was yes today.’
Destiny’s Child got together in 1990 and split up in 2006, which each band member going on to pursue solo careers. But luckily, they have done a few performances as a band since, most recently reuniting for a special reunion show during Beyonce’s Coachella set in April 2018, where they performed some of their greatest hits including Say My Name, Soldier and Lose My Breath.
