Kelsey Parker, The Wanted star Tom Parker’s wife, has opened up about her emotions and heartache after she marked her second Father's Day without Tom, as she said her family “miss him every single day.”
The mum of two held a charity football match to mark the difficult occasion and has so far raised more than £30,000. Organised by Kelsey, in collaboration with sponsor Quantas Gallery, 100% of the proceeds from the exciting day were donated to brain tumour charity Ahead of The Game, which helps fund lifesaving treatment and support affected families.
Kelsey told the publication: “It is just tough, and it’s just relentless – it is every day. This morning she said to me: ‘I miss my dad.’ I say, we all miss daddy too. What else do I say? It’s so hard. Of course we all miss him every single day – there’s not a day that goes by that we don’t think about Tom or talk about Tom.”
The proud mum has now written a book where she documented her turbulent journey of losing Tom. Kelsey told OK! that she is “super excited” about the launch of her debut book later this year during a chat at the TRIC Awards in London earlier this week.
